What was the highlight of The Fairwind Hotel
One night only!
Fairwind is one of my favorite locations to stay in Miami. But this was the first time I've stayed in the older part of the building. The location is great for access to the strip and the restaurant n bar never fail. The staff is always friendly and does their best to accommodate your needs. Even when things are out of their control they try to make you happy.
As stated this was my first time staying in the old part of the building and you can definitely tell it's dated. From broken window hinges that allowed my window to literally go with the breeze, the solo elevator that appeared to be from an old Alfred Hitchcock movie, to the fact that the hot water was out from the time we checked in to the time we left the next morning. Things like housekeeping were still up to par but the building itself could use major updating.

Overall the stay was very good, it is great value for money and in a great location. Good facilities and excellent custo
I liked that it was close to the beach, the rooms were a good size and it is a lively atmosphere. The staff were also very helpful and friendly

Just a short walk from the beach
Property was in an amazing spot. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond when I spoke to them about the initial room I was placed in.
The initial room I was placed in had significant wear and tear and needs a an upgrade although the second room I was in was great. The aircon is a bit noisy but hey I think it’s travelling.
